Our stay at Victoria Rooms was a disappointment. The room we were given was in poor quality with stained carpets and a spare stained mattress against the wall. Despite the bathroom being modern and clean, the attached shower lacked a wall attachment, forcing us to hold it in our hand. Additionally, the hotel required a shocking £125 refundable deposit for such subpar accommodations. We've stayed in many 5-star hotels and have never encountered such a request. We regret not paying a little extra to stay in a higher-quality hotel in the city center.
